consists of 24 members.
These are painters, graphic artists, ceramicists, textile workers, scrap metal - and jewelery artists

WHERE
located in the Väksthuset; the former Solvivahus, which
was built in the early 1990s in connection with the ecological trial project Grynebækken. Now the house is owned by the Solhvervsfonden. 4D are tenants of the fairytale-like house, which is a Danish version of the American Anna Edey's
"Solviva Winter Garden", a greenhouse powered by solar heating. The house is located outside Svaneke on Bornholm and

WHAT
it is a large house, and now a workshop, a workplace - and a creative breathing space started in 2009.
An environment has been created here that supports the desire to create and to mutually inspire. Here there is room for care and tenderness for each other; space for disagreement – ​​but poor growth conditions for destructive anger.
Each member of the community contributes financially to the ongoing expenses, and has his own "studio" in the large common room. Everyone helps solve the practical tasks associated with maintaining a very large place

SOM ALSO
is a social community, and a place that contributes to openness and to developing creativity and sustainable processes in the local community.

THE EXHIBITION WE CALL "Ø-KANT"
is an example of a joint commitment for some of 4D's members.
We have turned "edge" into "edge" because we claim to have the geography with us - not against us!
We will cultivate our own pulse and our distinctive character and "make it a good business" that does not need artificial respiration, due to job losses and population decline.
Our island is more than a nature reserve for stressed tourists.
It is "island edge" - a place with many creative and inventive potentials, of which 4D is a part. We want to show that with our exhibition.
